Raffle Tickets Sales Begin

The Big Money Raffle tickets will be passed out this week during practices. It's basically a 50/50 raffle with the winner getting $12,500 unless not all tickets are sold. Ticket are $100 each, with only 250 being sold. We plan to announce the winner at the banquet which tentatively will be in May. The winner does not need to be present to win. Last year's winner was Billy Rosette and we'll be posting info on our fan Facebook page (post 24 American legion baseball).

Friends can buy a ticket together to split the cost of the $100 if you're finding people are reluctant to pay for the full $100.

Here's the new part and this is very important: every player is responsible for his assigned tickets. Each player is assigned a set of numbered tickets. For example: player A is in need of an extra ticket and player B has an extra ticket. Player B then sells the ticket to player A for $100. Therefore, both player A & B each turn in $500 in ticket sales. Players cannot give another player a ticket without getting the $100. I hope this makes sense. This just helps us keep track of ticket sales much easier.
